Pule has a combined working experience of over 17 years acquired from various sector fields, of which 12 years is gained within the financial services industry, whereby he came through the ranks. He started as a financial advisor with Old Mutual PFA, Sanlam Health, Bonitas Medical Fund, further moved into various management roles at Liberty Life, later Standard Bank as a Regional Manager.

Another 5 years plus of his working life was spend within the 2 spheres of government, he joined Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality in Bloemfontein as the General Manager for Supply Chain Management, and then advanced to the Free State Provincial Government occupying different roles. He once occupied the demanding role of Director Business Regulations at the Department of Economic Development, as well as Chief Director for Police, Research and Strategic Planning at the Department of Police, Roads and Transport amongst his many responsibilities in government.

He is academically equipped with an MBA (MBS), MAP (Wits), Cert in Risk Management (UFS), Prog in Wealth Management (Stellenbosch), MDP (U.J), Ma. Labour Relations (NWU), Dip Bus Development (U.J). His diversified academic background and work experience is an added advantage for the Venture Capital Fund in breaking new grounds in various fields where we seek investment opportunities.

Herbert Mokoena studied the Bachelor of Agriculture: Agricultural Management degree with University of the Free State (UFS) and in the final year and he converted his studies to a BSc Agriculture: Agronomy and Agrometorology degree, on which he is a graduate. This was when he started working at the University of the Free State as an Assistant Researcher and one year later as a Researcher for the Department of Soil, Crop and Climate Sciences.

Since the beginning of October 2011, he is appointed a Project Co-ordinator for Enterprise Development at Farmsecure. In July 2012, he joined the Omnia Agriculture of the Omnia Group (Pty) Ltd as Technical Sales Representative and was responsible for projects in the North West Province. He is currently a national Agronomist and Crop Insurance Sales Consultant for Land Bank Insurance Company.

Dr. Mbulelo Nokwequ is currently employed in the Free State Provincial government as Deputy Director General for Economic Development and Tourism in the Department of Economic, Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (DESTEA).

His role in this capacity is to manage integrated economic development services, including access to funding, sector development and investment promotion. This role includes the development of strategies to grow the Tourism sector and its contribution to the provincial economy.

He was previously employed as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in Organic Chemistry at the Tshwane University of Technology until March 2016 and later as a Deputy Head of Department of Chemistry. His role was to train chemists who would be useful to the broad chemical and manufacturing sector and who can also be able to take up opportunities in these sectors as entrepreneurs. He has a strong leadership, organizational, and research skills to add to the team dimension.
